Series 1: Professional Papers of Lawrence and Alma Berk (1941-1996) comprises assorted correspondence, clippings, documents, awards, and ephemera pertaining to Larry and Alma Berk’s fifty years of service to music education, from the founding of Schillinger House through its evolution to Berklee College of Music, along with a few items related to Larry’s engineering work during World War II.

Collection is open for research by appointment, however some material is restricted and requires advance approval by the Berklee Archives' Associate Director--see series descriptions for more information.
