Scores and charts, circa 1970s-1990s

 Series

Scope and Contents

This series contains original and arranged music—handwritten, printed, and photocopied— for big and small bands. Most material is undated but generally represents Lewis's book from the late 1970s forward following a fire that destroyed most of his older arrangements. Many charts are assigned numbers; some works appear multiple times throughout the collection under various numbers and/or in combination with other pieces, suggesting their inclusion in more than one performance set.
