Scope and Contents
Audio and video recordings of Berklee College of Music events from campus venues including the: Berklee Performance Center, Lawrence and Alma Berk Recital Hall, Steve Heck Room, David Friend Recital Hall, Red Room, and Stan Getz Library and Media Center. The sources of these recordings include Berklee’s Concert Office, Video Services, and the Stan Getz Library and Media Center.

Conditions Governing Access
Collection is open for research by appointment. Advance notice is required for access because materials are stored offsite.
The majority of recordings have not been transferred. Patrons may request viewing appointments; Berklee community members may request streaming access to digitized copies. Contact Archives staff for further information.
Berklee Event Recordings Access Policy
Berklee Archives can only grant personal copies of event recordings to event participants. Remote streaming access is restricted to the Berklee community with a Berklee OnePass login; requests from patrons outside the Berklee community will require an on-campus appointment to view.

Biographical / Historical
Dedicated in 1998, the Stan Getz Library is committed to collecting and providing access to both electronic and print resources for music materials and to providing bibliographic, reference, and instructional support for Berklee’s research, scholarly, and creative pursuits. The Library’s Media Development Office receives event recordings and related materials from various campus offices, including Video Services and the Concert Office, and prepares these materials for inclusion in the library and college archives collections, as appropriate.
